The “Snack Group” gives children an opportunity to explore a variety of foods in a playful manner, using the S.O.S. Approach to Feeding.  This non-invasive approach allows children to engage with their peers and their non-preferred food items in a hierarchical manner, which allows them to gradually expand their food repertoire.  The approach, designed by Dr. Kay Toomey (of Toomey & Associates), was developed for children with sensory-based feeding difficulties in mind.
